I am writing in support of an application by Ms Sharryn Muir and Ms Jane Gierlicz of the Centre for Psychological and Relationship Counselling, 227 Bell Street, Preston.
I have worked with Sharryn and Jane for the past 6 years. They are the primary providers of psychology services for the patients of this clinic.
We primarily use Jane and Sharryn’s service for many reasons. They and their team have displayed a wide variety of experience and expertise in treating psychological problems including counselling victims of crime.
I have referred victims of crime and harassment to the service and have found them to be of great benefit.
Jane and Sharryn are at all times accessible by phone, fax and correspondence, including after hours. They are scrupulous about providing feedback. They are always very careful to provide full confidentiality. I have found their assessments and treatment of my patients to be insightful, co-operative and compassionate. Overall, the management of my patients has been enhanced greatly by the service’s assistance.
I fully support Jane and Sharryn’s application to the Department.
