I write to support the application of this psychological practice to be the provider of Victims of Crime Services in the Northern region of Melbourne.
I am a registered Psychologist in Victoria, a Member so the Australian Psychological Society and a Victims Support Agency provider under the present scheme. I worked as a Psychologist with the Centre for Psychological and Relationship Counselling in 2001 and 2002.
I found the professional provision of services of this psychological practice to be of a very high and competent standard. The psychologists adopt a teamwork approach to service providing feedback to referrers and integrating their services with those of other agencies.
The Centre for Psychological and Relationship Counselling has a proven record in the excellent provision of Victims of Crime services including the professional counselling of clients who have suffered trauma, the assessment of the effects of trauma using psychological assessment procedures as appropriate and the written and verbal reporting of proposed interventions to the Department of Justice and other professional agencies as relevant.
